I’m currently doing Interactive media and was given the task of producing a final major project of my choosing, so I decided to get on with it and make a modular environment within cryengine before I go to Uni and do My BA in Game art.
Screenshots and breakdown below
Just a few paintings looking at eyes and how light lands on them, I really need more practice.
Decided to go against making everything game ready as I have that process down, but I need more practice sculpting so decided to upload a progress video instead. Not that interesting.
Final Model is only 738 Tri’s and more than game ready. I will be uploading a rock a day but probably wont do it to the extent of this post, maybe one GIF and a ZBrush screenshot next time. I really don’t think people are that interested in the details.
I developed this primarily after looking at an old fashioned Ohm meter that had all this wear and tear on it, I gave myself the challenge of finishing the model and texture within one day and surprisingly did it.
Here’s a video turn table of the Ohm meter, just to show it’s all real time.
Just a little anatomy study I did to help me draw character's
I've been experimenting more and more with ZBrush lately as it feels more natural in the creation of organic assets, I'm still more than a beginner but after some time I managed to sculpt a Frog's head based upon my concept of a Knight Frog.
My skills need improvement within ZBrush but I would really like to complete this character.
